Calling all dreamers, makers, movers, shakers and self-recreators, an innovative new project is taking place in Downtown Hawley. The Hawley Hub reclaims the old Murray building on Main Avenue, as a multi-purpose space for the community with emphasis on the arts and self-enrichment. A multi-phased project, the Hawley Hub is first opening their upstairs space, The Eddy Studio, for yoga, dance, theater, art and fitness classes beginning July 6th. Among a few of the existing classes are Broadway Workouts where participants dance for fitness and learn Broadway moves to a new show tune every class, as well as Scene Study Classes for Actors, Intro to Theatre for Kids, All-Levels-Yoga and more! The Hawley Hub features Family Farms Northeast as an anchor tenant to open on Memorial Day weekend, 2021. This local business provides local produce, meats and pre-made meals from small family farms in the region and will be opening their cafe, coffee shop, and subscription pick-up location at The Hawley Hub. The new retail space is located within the Hawley Hub building, at 318 Main Ave. in downtown Hawley at the historic “Murray Building”.
